About Me

Hey, I'm John! 

I am a DMV and Houston-based photographer for On SI. I primarily shoot sports, but I also enjoy capturing events and portraits.

Outside of photography, I am a recent Boston College graduate, a licensed pilot, and a big sports fan (go Astros / Rockets / Texans / Dynamo / Stars)!

The goal of my photography is not only to capture the big and exciting moments, but the emotions and personalities behind those moments as well.

When I shoot a game or event, I always hope to show people in their best light, whether it's on the field, stage, or just in ordinary life.

My experience ranges from graduation shoots to MLS games. Additionally, my freelance work has been used by organizations including Everything College Hockey, the University of Michigan, and Duke University.
